Beginner yoga course designed to empower new students and teach them the fundamentals of a physical yoga practice. This course is for all levels of practitioners, as the fundamentals are necessary for progression and longevity of practice, but it is focused on new students who are looking to establish a consistent routine and meet others that are at a similar pace in their practice.
You will walk out of this course with a fresh new understanding of yoga and how the postures can help transform not only your physical body, but your mental and emotional states as well. The practice of yoga embodies much more than meets the eye, so together we will learn the basics and you will be introduced to many yogic themes that often times keep students coming back and back to their mat for years to come.
This course includes 5 small group sessions that are 90 minutes each. This is where we will break down the postures and focus on alignment, breath, and you will be introduced to both english and Sanksrit names of the postures presented. Also included, a 1 month unlimited yoga pass to the studio. This enables you to practice on the days we don't meet and apply your new knowledge to the all-levels classes offered and explore a variety of styles where the postures are used.
