Our second full moon for October! The Taurus full moon wants us to slow things down, take a beat, and press pause on everything. That might be a good idea with the wonky energy that most of October brings, so long as we don't get stuck and become stubborn about it. Being more present can help us to get grounded and see what we're missing, so this can be helpful. Take advantage of that.
We may be more sensitive to what others have to say and think about us, and we need to have better opinions of ourselves so we're not listening to others as much. We can identify more strongly with our values, and can work to live according to them. We just need to make sure we're finding value in ourselves too.
And Taurus full moons usually do = indulgence, fyi!
The full moon is conjunct (aligned with) transit Uranus in Taurus. This brings extra focus on the future, on change, and on our hopes and dreams, and might make this full moon less stable (since Uranus is unstable). We can make progress with future dreams and come together for a common cause, but we have to do so in a way that is practical and where we're okay with slow and steady progress (Taurus). Less impulse and impatience, more grounding and calm . . .

What to Expect
This is a full moon meditation centered around harnessing the power of the full moon energy to connect to our higher states of consciousness and awareness.
Chloë will offer information on the astrological aspects of this particular Full Moon and what to expect or prepare for throughout the Scorpio season.
Neil will guide us through a series of meditations and kundalini practices.
Brian will be rounding out the evening with a sound bath utilizing a gong and singing bowls.
If you would like to stay afterwards, we will have yogi tea and tarot reading while letting the energy of the evening settle in.
What to Bring
A yoga mat, blanket, and cushion/bolster.
We will be seated for most of the meditation which can be quite uncomfortable on our hips. We have plenty of meditation props and cushions available for purchase if you don’t have any to bring from home. At this time, we do not offer community props due to cover-19. We highly recommend a firm cushion to sit on and a blanket to support your posture or cover up with during the sound bath.
In many spiritual practices, it is common to wear white. We recommend wearing white but it is not required, wear what is most comfortable for you.
Pre-cautions
Due to cover-19, we have a very limited capacity of 30% indoors. We are abiding by this order and allowing 12 participants for this Full Moon gathering. Masks are required upon entry of our building. You must keep you mask on when moving about our facility, however you may remove your mask when you are in your meditation spot. All spaces are distanced and you must bring you own props. You may keep your mask on during practice.
If you have been exposed to the coronavirus in recent weeks, please do not attend. If you feel you are at a higher risk of infection and complications, please do not attend.
After the meditation, we will be on the patio with the door open for tea time and tarot reading.
